            <description><![CDATA[Click here to read the full judgment on Saflii  [1]  The applicant, African Transformation Movement (ATM), is a political party, duly registered as such in terms of s 15(1) of the Electoral Commission Act 51 of 1996 (the Commission Act). It participated in the May 2024 National and Provincial Elections (2024 NPE) and pursuant thereto won two seats in the National Assembly, as well one seat in a Provincial Legislature. The first respondent is the Electoral Commission of South Africa (Commission), established in terms of s 181(1)(f) of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996 (Constitution) and it is the body constitutionally mandated to manage elections in this country. The second to the twentieth respondents are also registered political parties, which also participated in the 2024 NPE and all of them are now represented in the National Assembly and/or in one or more of the Provincial Legislatures.]]></description>
