            <description><![CDATA[The Democratic Alliance and Inkatha Freedom Party on Wednesday expressed confidence that their respective parties would successfully remove all election posters, following a call from the South African Local Government Association to have election posters removed from all municipalities. Following an election, political parties have limited days to remove all posters and other related materials from municipal structures, according to the municipal outdoor advertising by-laws. Salga says the presence of election posters three weeks after the election is a cause for concern.]]></description>

Duvenhage was addressing members of the business organisation Sakeliga in Centurion on Tuesday as the country anticipates the announcement of the sixth Cabinet this week. Duvenhage said it will be ideal for Ramaphosa to consider people with moral standards, such as Tito Mboweni and Pravin Gordhan and advised Ramaphosa to consider Trevor Manuel in his advisory team because of his credentials.]]></description>

Marawu joined the ATM in March and was selected to serve as an MP along with the party leader, Vuyolwethu Zungula. The ATM scooped two seats in the National Assembly following the May 8 elections.]]></description>

            <description><![CDATA[Police Minister Bheki Cele has confirmed that statements are being taken from politicians who allegedly involved themselves in the double voting scandal on election day. During a post-election debriefing on Monday, the Justice, Crime Prevention and Security  cluster would not confirm that investigations had been initiated, instead saying that a process had been launched. "There is indeed a process that statements will be taken, including those politicians who put themselves in the position of trying to interfere with elections," Cele said. Economic Freedom Fighters national chairperson Dali Mpofu said that, after receiving reports of double voting in the Eastern Cape, he had asked members to test the system.]]></description>

            <description><![CDATA[The justice, crime prevention and security cluster of government departments on Monday applauded South African voters for their tolerance and patience during last week's general elections, which saw millions of people queue in different parts of the country, often in cold and wet weather, to cast their ballots. "During these elections we witnessed South Africans displaying active citizenship, patriotism and allegiance to our Constitution. Many of the voters exercised tolerance and patience as they waited in long queues to exercise their democratic right to vote," Police minister Bheki Cele. Cele said all 22 924 voting stations across South Africa were secured on the day of the elections with no major incidents reported, creating conditions for free and fair elections conducted in a safe and secure environment. ]]></description>
