It must never be forgotten that the two Mayors of Vhembe District Municipality and Lepelle Nkumpi Municipality who were elevated to the Limpopo Executive Council were both fired by Premier Stan Mathabatha some time ago for unlawfully investing a combined total of R450 million in VBS.

Now the very same Premier has promoted Florence Radzilana and Nakedi Sibanda to ExCo to satisfy the insatiable appetite of the dominant faction that he leads in Limpopo.

ActionSA will not be fooled by the shenanigans of a Premier besieged by his faction to provide blue lights to the corrupt and incompetent as per the demand of his faction.

The people of Limpopo know for a fact that since the ANC conference that delivered a third term to Mathabatha he has been under extreme pressure to appoint Radzilani and Sibanda for the positions of Deputy Chairperson and Treasurer that they respectively hold. This cabinet reshuffle has nothing to do with service delivery and the betterment of the lives of the people of Limpopo; it is nothing else but the sharing of the spoils of a dominant faction that crushed the Masemola-Lekganyane faction in the last conference.

Now, the people of Limpopo must prepare themselves for accelerated looting of provincial resources in the countdown to the ANC's 55th national conference in December this year.

ActionSA wishes to remind the Hawks and NPA in Limpopo to use this opportune moment to pounce on the two former mayors who plundered a combined half a billion Rands. We are looking forward to the imminent arrest of these two MECs who have robbed our people of desperately needed service delivery.

The people of Limpopo must now realize that there is no bright future under a corrupt and incompetent ANC. It is only through a change of government that the fortunes of the people of Limpopo will change for the better.

ActionSA stands ready to lead the people of Limpopo into a better and more prosperous future. The 2024 general election is the last opportunity for the people of Limpopo to bring about change and consign the corrupt ANC to the dustbin of history.
