The LOCAL DEVELOPMENT & ECONOMIC CIVIL ASSOCIATION (LDECA) call on the Law Enforcement Agencies to afford the Communities that will attending the late Teenager Nathaniel Jules Funeral tomorrow (05/09/2020), the same gentility, they did during NEHAWU National Protest Marchers country-wide, where tens, hundreds and thousands of their members  came together in their numbers and Peaceful Protest Marched  to Premiers Offices including to the Union Building in the City of Tswane  against the state’s decision to pull out of the wage agreement, says: Golden Miles Bhudu, Spokesperson of LDECA.

The National Education, Health and Allied Workers' Union (NEHAWU) went ahead, anyway with its Protest Marches despite the ban on gatherings of more than a 100 people to maintain the Social Distance policy because of COVID-19 pandemic Outbreak.

Needless to say, was it not because of the ridiculous and senseless coldblooded murder of the late Teenager Nathaniel Jules by Trigger Happy Police Officers, who abused their Power and Authority, the state of affairs shouldn’t be as is.

Be also be reminded that NEHAWU out of sheer desperation embarked on desperate means because of the state’s decision to pull out of the wage agreement.

In our case the tens, and hundreds and thousands of mourners will be, with dignity take the late Teenager Nathaniel Jules to his everlasting resting place in eternity.

LDECA is reminding the decision makers that the Teenager late Nathaniel Jules, did not lost his only life because of any disease/s, including COVID-19. He was shot at the slightest provocation at close range, by Police Officers that were supposed to protect him and the community at large.

LDECA plead and pray that the Law Enforcement Agencies won’t flex their muscles by means of spreading us with water and arrest us for sending off our little brothers.

LDECA also called for the speedily, starting on the trial so that the accused person can get their day in court to tell their side of the story and conclude of the trial, without any undue delays, so that those irresponsible for this reckless deed fell the wrath of the law and suffer the consequences, and pay their dues to the Community.
