As the South African National Civic Organization Youth Congress in KwaZulu-Natal, we remain encouraged by the election of young dwellers during regional conferences over the past few month

We wish to pause and pay tribute to the delegates that attended the last regional elective conference held at Inkosi Bhambatha Region.

In particular, we acknowledge that delegates overwhelmingly identified and agreed that our Regional Coordinator Cde Lusanda Mbanjwa-Mhlungu was ready to occupy a position of responsibility.

During this conference, we witnessed young dwellers engaged in robust debates and displaying their commitment to use the ANC as a vehicle to advance the National Democratic Revolution.

We have no doubt that with the support of the collective, she will execute all her responsibilities such as driving rural development for the benefit of the people of Umzinyathi District with the ANC as an instrument.

The dwellers of Umzinyathi lack access to electricity, water, roads, human settlements, access to adequate healthcare and many other services.

We have confidence that the new regional leadership, with our member Cde Lusanda Mbanjwa-Mhlungu as part of the collective, we will see radical socio-economic transformation for the benefit of the dwellers of Umzinyathi irrespective of their political affiliation.

We say - this is the time to liberate the people of this municipality !!!
