To provide for the incorporation of the World Heritage Convention into South African law; to provide for the enforcement and implementation of the World Heritage Convention in South Africa; to provide for the recognition and establishment of World Heritage Sites; to provide for the establishment of Authorities and the granting of additional powers to existing organs of State; to provide for the powers, functions and duties of such Authorities; to provide for the advisory boards and executive committees of the Authorities; to provide for management zone plans over World Heritage Sites; to provide for land matters in relation to World Heritage Sites; to provide for financial, auditing and reporting controls over the
Authorities; and to provide for incidental matters.
