Skylar Phakade is a twenty-eight-year-old fashion designer. She has everything her heart desires – supportive parents, a loyal best friend and a thriving career. But the one thing she lacks is romantic love.

When Skylar meets Mduduzi Gumede in a coffee shop one morning, she is immediately drawn to him. He is funny, bright and undeniably good-looking. There is a catch, however: Mduduzi is unemployed.

They soon start dating, but for the relationship to work, Skylar has to keep secrets from her parents and her best friend. Then she uncovers something even more unsettling – her mother is hiding a deep, long-buried secret that no one else in the family has discovered yet.

This new romance from popular Facebook author Cathrine Phiri is the second in her ALWAYS series. Beloved characters Thandaza and Steven from A Love that Heals also feature in this novel.
