Deputy President Jacob Zuma told the first South African AIDS
Conference in Durban yesterday that the Aids epidemic raised "huge
challenges, ethical and human rights questions".
A leading AIDS expert has warned that key decisions need to be made
in South Africa to prevent new HIV infections, as mortality rates
are expected to increase.
