Zuma appoints seven new Nyda board members

President Jacob Zuma has, in terms of section 9 of the National Youth Development Agency Act of 2008, appointed seven new members to the board of the National Youth Development Agency (Nyda).

The appointed new members were Xoliswa Ayanda Bambiso, Zandile Majozi, Mothupi Phaladi Modiba, Itiseng Kenny Morolong, Maropene Lydia Ntuli, Yershen Pillay and Nyalleng Potloane.

The President also designated Yershen Pillay as chairperson and Itiseng Kenny Morolong as deputy chairperson respectively.

The members of the board were appointed for a period of three years.

“We wish to warmly congratulate the new members of the board and wish them all the best in pursuing the nation’s youth development agenda,” Zuma said.
