Young lawyers honoured for outstanding achievements

Global legal practice Norton Rose Fulbright’s ability to attract top legal talent was reflected in recent awards and graduation ceremonies held for young lawyers in South Africa.

Tamryn Jensen, a Cape Town-based candidate attorney at Norton Rose Fulbright South Africa, has been awarded nine prizes by the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, including being named top student in competition law and graduating summa cum laude on 9 April 2014. Tamryn joined the practice in January 2014.

Ugendran Odayar and Tasmika Ramkaran, lawyers in our Durban practice, graduated summa cum laude from the University of KwaZulu-Natal on 11 April 2014.  Tasmika also won the award for top student in sale, lease & credit agreements, whilst Ugendran was awarded a remarkable ten awards,  including the Ivan John Goldberg top student award.
