The Young Communist League of South Africa [uFasimba] will be holding its 3rd National Council from the 8th [Thursday] to the 11th [Sunday] December 2016 in Johannesburg, Gauteng, under the theme “Deepening Youth Mobilization for Socialism”.
The National Council is the non-elective highest decision-making body of YCLSA in between National Congresses, and its utmost task is to assess the work of the organization since the last National Congress and map a way-forward until the next National Congress in 2018.
The National Council will be attended by more than 1000 delegates from branches, districts, provinces and the National Committee. The National Council will be addressed by the tripartite alliance leaders [SACP, ANC and COSATU], and the Progressive Youth Alliance [SASCO, COSAS and ANC YL] and International fraternal organizations.
The 3RD National Council is scheduled as follows:
Date: December 8th to 11th, 2016
Venue: University of Johannesburg, Soweto Campus.
