Webber Wentzel strengthens Tax Practice

Webber Wentzel further entrenches its dominant position in tax advisory and private equity with the appointment of Craig Miller, one of South Africa's leading Mergers & Acquisitions and corporate tax specialists. Miller will join as a director in the firm's tax practice from 1 March 2017.

Nominated by Expert Guides as a leading tax advisor in South Africa, Miller joins Webber Wentzel from PwC where he served as a tax partner in the M&A tax advisory practice.

Miller brings over 20 years' experience in M&A and corporate tax, and an impressive track record of successful transactions for blue-chip companies. Prior to his time at PwC as a partner in the specialist Mergers and Acquisitions Tax practice, he served as a tax partner at EY where he headed up EY’s African Transaction Tax practice.

His academic credentials include a  B.Com Honours (Financial Accounting), Master of Commerce (Tax Law), Higher Diploma in Tax Law and an LLB. Miller's recognised knowledge and expertise has seen him present at numerous local and international seminars and conferences on a wide range of corporate tax matters.
