UASA: Andre Venter says decisive action urgently needed from ANC quarters – Zuma must go, and soon

Whenever President Jacob Zuma announces a Cabinet shuffle there’s blood on the proverbial floor of the economy.

Minutes after his announcement earlier today the rand lost more than 0.5%. Zuma’s chess game with South Africa to enrich himself and his cronies has cost South Africa billions of rand.

That the ANC has not yet seen fit to recall the man is unimaginable. Not only is he ruining our country, its citizens and above all the poor, but also his own party.

When will the ANC stand up and show true leadership by removing Zuma as president? When will the ANC apply “real economic transformation”, the kind that will reform our economy to benefit our country and all who live in it instead of himself, his family and cronies?

We need decisive action from ANC quarters before it is too late to salvage what is left of South Africa, and the ANC for that matter.
