The IFP will be celebrating Mrs Getrude Ngubane who will be turning 100
years on Sunday, 21st September 2014, in Langa Place Road, Lamontville,
Durban.

Mrs Ngubane is an IFP veteran who has survived the darkest days of South
African politics. She has been a loyal and active leader of the IFP in an
ANC stronghold, which often put her life in danger.

The IFP is honoured that she has lived an active life and will be
celebrating her 100th birthday. We thank her for the role she has played and
the sacrifices she has made and that she was willing to put her life at risk
for the advancement of democracy.
