The dti to host the Economic Policy Dialogue on SA's sovereign credit downgrade

Members of the media are invited to the Economic Policy Dialogue on South Africa’s sovereign credit downgrade to sub-investment grade status, that will be hosted by the Department of Trade and Industry (the dti)

The purpose of the Economic Policy Dialogue is to encourage on-going and dynamic debate on contemporary issues that impact on the South African society in general and the economy in particular.

Keynote speakers for the dialogue will be the Head of Credit Rating Services at the Financial Services Board, Mr Roland Cooper, Sovereign Analyst in the S&P emerging markets sovereign ratings team, Mr Gardner Rusike, and the Chief Director of Strategy and Risk Management at the National Treasury, Dr Mampho Modise.
