Members of the media are invited to the South Africa-France Business Forum that will be addressed by South Africa’s Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr Rob Davies, and his French counterpart HE, Ms Nicole Bricq.

The sectors represented at the SA-France Business Forum include Energy, Infrastructure and Transport, Agro-processing, and Manufacturing.  Representatives from key French and South African companies will be present at the business forum.  One of the key topics of discussion will be “South Africa and France, working together for Africa’s Industrialisation”.  
 
The key outcomes in this session include a discussion and engagement on how South African and French business can work together to contribute to Africa’s Industrialisation with a specific focus on regional integration, infrastructure development, mineral beneficiation, agro-processing and building the agricultural value chain.
 
The following companies will sign areements: PRASA and Alstom, Sanedi and AFD, IDC, AFD, Proparco, Eskom and AFD
 
President Jacob Zuma and his French François Hollande counterpart are scheduled to address the South Africa-France Business Forum later in the day
