The Select Committee on Social Services will tomorrow afternoon receive a briefing from the Department of Social Development on its Annual Performance Plan and 2017/2018 budget allocation.

This engagement follows the cancelled meeting of 02 May 2017 due to the unavailability of the executive authority. The Committee considers planning and budgeting processes as an important pillar in ensuring effective functioning of the department.
