The Eastern Cape Hawks have arrested five suspects for the murder of Constable Bulelani Dlamini (35).

The suspects whose ages range between 24 and 47-years-old were arrested last week Friday and are expected to appear on Monday before the Mount Fletcher Magistrate court.  It is alleged they shot and killed Constable Dlamini during an armed robbery at Mount Fletcher in July 2015.

The Mount Fletcher Police members responded to a robbery and on their arrival a shootout ensued between them and the robbers. Unfortunately, Constable Dlamini succumbed during the shootout.

The five suspects have been charged murder, attempted murder, robbery and hijacking. Investigations are still continuing.
