SAPS OPERATION DUTY CALLS FESTIVE SEASON CRIME-FIGHTING CAMPAIGN LAUNCH

Minister of Police Nkosinathi Nhleko, Deputy Minister of Police Maggie Sotyu and the Police National Commissioner General Riah Phiyega will lead the official launch of the annual South African Police Service (SAPS) Operation Duty Calls Festive Season Crime-Fighting campaign. This is a national crime fighting operational plan aimed at making South Africa a safe place during the festive season and it will take place on 23 October 2014 in Wembezi, KwaZulu-Natal.

This year’s launch will coincide with the Justice and Crime Prevention Security Cluster (JCPS) Community outreach revisit to the community of Wembezi Community outreach revisit.
