SAPROMO: SAPROMO congratulates Ma Hlolweni for her African Woman Awards nomination

Sakhisizwe Progressive Movement  (SAPROMO) would like to congratulate Manyathi Hlolweni for being nominated for 2016 African Woman Awards. Ma Hlolweni was on the top 3 of the GRASS ROOTS IMPACT AWARD category of above mentioned prestigious awards.

Ma Hlolweni was nominated with the likes of Connie Ferguson and Terry Pheto on the same set of awards, but unfortunately did not get any recognition from the SA media because she is not famous. SAPROMO would like to plead with South Africans  to support women like Ma Hlolweni who are making an impact in our localities.

Ma Hlolweni  (the biological mother of the president of SAPROMO) was nominated for her outstanding work in the rural eastern cape  for upholding our African traditions and customs, teaching the young and healing the community in an African way. Ma Hlolweni has turned her house into a community clinic where she traditionally heal the sick without  having to spend a lot of money going to far away clinics.

Ma Hlolweni  (67) made a great impact in the African continent and for making it to the top 3, SAPROMO sees it as a winner for the Nation. Her story must have been read and told by the organizers of the awards throughout the African. We believe this is a great achievement for South Africa and the women of the rural areas.

SAPROMO would like to thank Ma Hlolweni for the great work she has done for the community of eMbalenhle (where she spent a quarter of her life), Saphukanduku and the whole African continent. May she continue healing the Nation and teaching us about our African cultures and customs.
