SACP LEADERSHIP, CRONIN, MAPAILA AND COSATU PRESIDENT DLAMINI TO ADDRESS THE POLITICAL AND IDEOLOGICAL COMMISION OF SACP GAUTENG THIS WEEKEND

The SACP Gauteng Province will hold its Political and Ideological Commission this weekend. The commission will be held as follows:

Date:              13-14 February 2016

The Political and Ideological Commission has as its main function, the scientific analysis of social, economic and political developments in the province, the country and globally. The commission, which places the daily experiences of our people central to its work, will assess the challenges posed by these developments for struggles of the working class. In the context of the ongoing class struggle, the analysis will give consideration to progress made and challenges we face in the state, the economy, the workplace, the ideological terrain and internationally.

The commission will outline the main political tasks of communists and the working class in further deepening, consolidating and advancing of the National Democratic revolution in its second and more radical phase.

The Political and Ideological Commission will be addressed by amongst others members of the Central Committee and the Politburo.
