SACP convenes Augmented Central Committee meeting

22nd November 2018

The Central Committee is the Party's highest decision making body when the National Congress is not in session. The National Congress convenes once every five years, while the Central Committee convenes once every quarter. However, unlike an ordinary session of the Central Committee, the Augmented Central Committee is, in addition to Central Committee Members, attended by additional delegates representing provinces and districts of the Party across the country.

The Augmented Central Committee meeting will discuss the current political situation, the state of the South African economy, the international context, its impact on South Africa and the role of the SACP and the working class in general.
