The African National Congress wishes Madiba well as he has been admitted
at a hospital yesterday for regular check-up and tests. We believe he is
in capable and competent hands. We want to reiterate the message of
President Zuma that this is a routine check-up and therefore should not
raise alarm. We call on the media to afford him and his family privacy.
