The Portfolio Committee on Sport and Recreation will tomorrow, 30 August 2016, be briefed by the South African Football Association (Safa) on its 2014/15 and 2015/16 annual reports, financial statements, governance and transformation plan. The Committee will also be briefed on preparation and performance of Banyana Banyana and the under-23 football team for Rio 2016.

The Committee will also receive a progress report on the implementation of the 2012 Commission for Gender Equality recommendations on transformation in South African football.
