The Ad Hoc Joint Committee on the appointment of board members to the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) has today shortlisted 14 candidates to be interviewed for appointment to the board of the NYDA.

The following are the shortlisted candidates in no order of preference:
1.      Ms Joy Maimela
2.     Ms Zandile Myeni
3.     Ms Zandile Majozi
4.     Mr Siyaduma Biniza
5.     Mr Desmond Moela
6.     Mr Thembinkosi Josopu
7.     Mr Ndomiso Mokako
8.     Mr Yershen Pillay
9.     Mr Sifiso Mtsweni
10.   Mr Kenneth Morolong
11.   Ms Bavelile Hlongwa
12.   Mr Andile Biyela
13.   Ms Zilondiwe Goge
14.   Mr Siyabonga Magadla

The shortlisted candidates will be subjected to an intensive vetting process to ensure that they comply with the appointing Act. In this regard, interviewing of any candidate will be subject to candidates passing the extensive vetting process.

Interviews for the shortlisted and vetted candidates will be conducted on the 25 January 2017 from 09:00. In an effort to promote a culture of openness, the CVs of shortlisted candidates will be published on the parliamentary website.
