SA: Oakbay CEO files an application for an interdict against EFF

THE CEO of Oakbay Investments, Nazeem Howa, and 12 other plaintiffs have filed an application in the Gauteng North High Court for an interdict against the Economic Freedom fighters to restrain its members from committing acts of violence against the company's shareholders, staff and property.

This follows statements made by the EFF's leader Julius Malema and the Gauteng region of the party which we have interpreted as an incitement to violence. The matter is likely to be heard in the North Gauteng High Court at 9am today (Tuesday, 9 February 2016).

A full set of the of the company's affidavit is available on Oakbay's website: http://oakbayinvestments.co.za/press
