The Minster of Telecommunications and Postal Services Dr Siyabonga Cwele has appointed an interim board of directors at the Universal Service and Access Agency of SA following the dissolution of the previous board.

The interim board will serve for three months or until a new board has been appointment.

The interim board members are;

• Adv William Huma, who will serve as the Interim Chairperson.
• Ms Ntombizodwa Kutta-Ndlovu
• Ms Mapuleng Moropa
• Mr Joel Sihle Ngubane
• Mr Siyabonga Dube.

The previous board was dissolved following lengthy engagements after which the Minister found the board to be unfit in terms of the Electronic Communications Act and the Public Finance Management Act.
