SA: Mac Maharaj says President Jacob Zuma declares Provincial Official Funerals for the late Senzo Meyiwa and Mbulaeni Mulaudzi

President Jacob Zuma has declared Provincial Official Funerals for the late exceptional Bafana Bafana Captain Senzo Meyiwa and the Olympic medalist Mr Mbulaheni Mulaudzi.

The President has ordered that the National Flag be flown at half-mast in KwaZulu-Natal and Limpopo Provinces tomorrow, Saturday 1 November 2014, the day of the two funerals.

The two sports stars have represented the nation exceptionally well in national and international sporting engagements, generating immense national pride and unity.

President Zuma has assigned the Minister in the Presidency, Jeff Radebe to deliver the eulogy at the funeral of Meyiwa while the Minister of Public Service and Administration, Collins Chabane, will deliver the eulogy at the funeral of Mulaudzi.

More details on the funerals will be released by the two provincial governments.
