SA: Committee accepts constitutional Court judgement on the restitution of Land Rights Amendment Act

The Portfolio Committee on Rural Development and Land Reform was briefed today on the impact of the recent Constitutional Court decision in the LAMOSA and Others v Chairperson of the NCOP and Others.

The Chairperson, Ms Phumuzile Ngwenya-Mabila said that the Committee notes and accepts the judgment. The Committee is committed in ensuring that there is adequate public participation and involvement in all its law-making processes and will continue to do so as directed by the Constitutional Court in this judgment.
