The Ad Hoc Committee to Amend Section 25 of the Constitution today met to elect Ms Thoko Didiza as its chairperson.
 
Ms Didiza said the work of the committee flows directly from the adoption of the report on Section 25 of the Joint Constitutional Review Committee by the National Assembly late last year. The committee will meet on 22 February 2019 to discuss its programme.
 
Names of Members of the committee appeared in the announcements, tablings and committee reports on Tuesday, 6 February 2019. The committee is constituted of 11 voting members.
