PRESIDENT ZUMA TO ADDRESS THE NATIONAL SAPS COMMEMORATION DAY

President Jacob Zuma will lead the nation in remembering members of the South African Police Service who have lost their lives in the line of duty, on Sunday, 06 September 2015.

The President, supported by the Minister of Police, Mr Nathi Nhleko, will officiate at the national South African Police Service (SAPS) Commemoration Day, paying tribute to to the members of the SAPS who have fallen in the line of duty in the past twelve months.

On the day the President will be joined by families and relatives of the fallen men and women in blue as he pays his respects on behalf of government and the nation, at the memorial site at his office in the Union Buildings, in honour of those who died serving and protecting the people of South Africa.
