President Jacob Zuma will this afternoon, 2 August 2016, visit the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) Results Operations Centre at the Tshwane Events Centre in Pretoria.


The President will do a walk-about in the centre to view the state of readiness for the 2016 Local Government Elections. He will also be shown the processes through which results would be coming in from across voting stations in the country.


The elections will take place on 3 August 2016.
