The residents of Phamong in Qwaqwa will get an opportunity to interact with Free State Premier Ace Magashule and the Executive Council during an Operation Hlasela outreach campaign on Friday, 24 April 2015. The visit to the area is the result of an undertaking made by Premier Magashule a fortnight ago during the Imbizo Focus Week, to come and address service delivery challenges. Some of the interventions to be implemented on that day include:
- Cleaning campaign at the Riverside Intermediate School
- Demolishing of houses in Phamong
- Visit to assess the progress of the road construction (graveling) site in Phamong
- Luncheon Club visit at Maqhekung
- Mass meeting at Riverside
At the community meeting, Premier will hand out food parcels and blankets to the needy. This is part of the commitment by the Free State Provincial Government to ensure that it knows where people live, how they live and alleviate the plight of those in need.
