Civil society organisations are planning new, united actions to address the issue of state capture.

You’re invited to hear more about these plans at a press conference on Thursday at GIBS in Johannesburg, where the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation, the Save South Africa campaign and a number of other civil society organisations are making preparations for a “Conference on the Future of South Africa” later this month.

Civil society organisations will also be showing solidarity with journalists who have reported on and articulated substantiated views on issues related to state capture, corruption and other societal issues, and who are now being victimised by anti-democratic forces.
