The Portfolio Committee on Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (PC on CoGTA) will tomorrow (Tuesday, 28 February 2017) examine five Bills the Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs intends processing this year.

The draft laws to be tabled for discussion tomorrow include the Municipal Demarcation Amendment Bill, Municipal Structures Amendment Bill, Municipal Systems Amendment Bill and Customary Initiation Bill, as well as the Traditional Leadership and Governance Framework Bill.

These Bills are intended to be formally introduced in Parliament between May and December this year, respectively.
