Pan Africanist Congress of Azania (PAC) is also part of the coalition in the City of Ekurhuleni which consists of the PAC, ANC & AIC. The coalition took place after the ANC failed to secure 50 plus 1 of the 2016 Local Government Elections (LGE).

We are aware of issues which the AIC are raising and have been raising pre-coalition and they are still raising same issues which is not a problem. Three parties are still committed to working together for the entire period.

We obviously expect such "cohabitant relationship" because there are three political parties with different interests in the settlement but we are duty bound to ensure priority of the people of Ekurhuleni metro.

The PAC hopes that two parties in question will reach common grounds on the meeting scheduled for next week. We have passed difficult times of the coalition process and the current challenges are just too tiny and we are quite certain they will have common ground for the sake of the people of Ekurhuleni and the entire country.
