The Bokone Bophirima Provincial Government in its capacity as a shareholder in a State Owned Entity (SOE) NTI, met on Wednesday 7th October 2015 and agreed to appoint an interim board for a period not exceeding six months.

Amongst other things, the board is mandated to ensure that there is full existence of government controlled bus services in the entire province as part of ensuring safe, affordable and accessible transport to all in the province that will contribute to economic growth.

Future bus operations will be inclusive of the taxi industry. The Board, which consists of women only, is constituted as follows:

•     Advocate Thato Mohapi
•     Ms Ontlametse Mochware
•     Ms Fetsang Mokati

The Board is also mandated to deal with all allegations of corruption in the company.
