In accordance with Rule 241(1)(b) of the Rules of the National Assembly, notice is hereby given that Deborah Anne Schafer MP, intends introducing a private member's bill to amend the Special Investigating Units and Special Tribunals Act, No 74 of 1996, in order to provide for, inter alia, the National Assembly to be involved in the appointment and removal of the Head of a Special Investigating Unit.
