Norton Rose Fulbright bolsters presence in South Africa

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has announced that Keller Snyman Schelhase, Cape Town, will join Norton Rose Fulbright, effective 1 February 2017.

Established in 2012 Keller Snyman Schelhase is a full service law firm with a strong reputation in the infrastructure, transport, retail, real estate, energy and financial services sectors. Andrea Keller, Anton Schelhase and Lauren Fine will join as directors of Norton Rose Fulbright.

The addition of Keller Snyman Schelhase will see Norton Rose Fulbright strengthen its team in the Cape to 33 lawyers, and extend its current African coverage, which comprises on the ground presence with offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Casablanca and Dar es Salaam and strategic alliances with Shonubi Musoke & Co Advocates in Uganda, Shonubi, Musoke, Gilbert & Partners in Burundi, Gill, Godlonton & Gerrans in Zimbabwe and most recently with Walker Kontos in Kenya.

Norton Rose Fulbright has recently expanded in the US (San Francisco), Canada (Vancouver), Papua New Guinea (Port Moresby), and Monaco (early 2017).
