Norton Rose Fulbright awarded South African Professional Services Firm of the year

Norton Rose Fulbright South Africa has been named Best Law Firm and Professional Services Firm of the Year at the inaugural South African Professional Services Awards 2014 (SAPSA).  Global chairman, Sbu Gule, was also awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Employment and Labour Law at the awards ceremony, which took place at the Emperors Palace, Johannesburg.

Sbu Gule is Global Chairman of Norton Rose Fulbright and Chairman of the South Africa practice. He focuses on employment and labour law and immigration.  He has been involved in landmark cases reported in Labour and employment law reports and has gained experience in litigation in the Magistrate’s Court and the High Court, as well as in commercial matters.  He has acted as a judge in the Labour Court and has sat as an assessor in the High Court.

The SAPSA awards recognise individuals and organisations that have excelled within the South African professional services industry and are judged by an independent panel of industry experts.
