The media is cordially invited to a post Executive Council (EXCO) media briefing that will be addressed by the Bokone Bophirima Premier, SOR Mahumapelo on Thursday, 25 August 2016.

The briefing will focus on issues discussed and resolutions taken during the sixth meeting of Bokone Bophirima EXCO. Amongst others, the media will be briefed on progress registered in implementing the Agriculture, Culture and Tourism (ACT) strategy, state of the municipalities in accordance with the Back to Basics strategy, transformation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the Province, and the provincial expenditure report.

Premier Mahumapelo has pronounced that the EXCO will hold a media briefing after its every sitting, this in an effort to promote accountability and access to information, while at the same time affording the media the opportunity to interact with provincial leadership.
