National Lotteries Board celebrates the season of giving with a donation of 165 pairs of new shoes

The National Lotteries Board (NLB) invites the media to attend the handing over of 165 pairs of new shoes to the Child Welfare in White River.
The NLB have implemented a tradition within the organisation, where staff are encouraged to purchase and donate shoes at their own expense.

This initiative is in line with the mandated under the Lotteries Act of 1997 to distribute funds from the National Lottery to good causes. As the Catalyst for Social Upliftment, the NLB have distributed over R 18 billion in the 15 years since inception.
