National Assembly Speaker to address a national healing prayer

The National Assembly Speaker, Ms Baleka Mbete, will address a prayer meeting against gender based violence in Soweto in Gauteng, as part of Women’s Month commemoration.

Ms Mbete accepted an invitation to deliver the keynote address at the national healing prayer meeting aimed at praying against the scourge of abuse and brutal murders of women. The prayer will be held under the theme: “Enough is enough. Stop violence against women”.

The national prayer is championed by Naturena local business woman, Prizzer Ndlovu founder of Prizzer General Trading and other stakeholders.

Expected guests include, Gauteng Premier Mr David Makhura, Minister of Police Mr Fikile Mbalula, Pater J. Tshabalala from God Never Fails, taxi associations, Umkhonto we Sizwe veterans, among other guests.

Invited churches include, God Never Fail, Zion, Methodist, ZCC, as well as traditional healers.
