Mpumalanga Economic Development hosts camp of mentoring to assist youth to lead exemplary lifestyles within their communities

MEC for Finance, Economic Development and Tourism, Mr Sikhumbuzo Kholwane will open a three day camp of mentoring and assisting youth to lead exemplary lifestyles within their communities.

The camp will be attended by 67 young people who were drawn from different areas in Matsulu, Mbombela. The aim of the camp, in its first year, is to start a campaign of building role model of excellent behaviour through amongst others:

“We hope to see the youth camp assisting in promoting the ethos of humane and caring nation amongst the young men, while ensuring that the goodness of the world’s icon, Tata Nelson Mandela is not lost in the generations of young people in the province,” said MEC Kholwane.

The camp will be addressed by leaders and professionals, spanning variety of fields, all whose support for the event is inspired by the call of the MEC on implementation of partnership for change in society.
