MINISTER ZWELI MKHIZE TO ADDRESS LEADERSHIP SUMMIT FOR WOMEN AMAKHOSI AND COUNCILLORS

The Minister for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Dr Zweli Mkhize will attend and address the graduation ceremony of women councillors and amakhosi – an event that taking part as part of a wider dialogue of women in leadership, in Durban tomorrow, 8 November 2018.
 
The event further commemorates two years of the councillors being in office and celebrates the late national icons Tata Nelson Mandela and Mama Albertina Sisulu. It provides women a platform to share, discuss and debate the special challenges they face as Women Councillors in their pivotal leadership and inspirational mentor roles to map out collectively better ways of addressing local government challenges.
 
The theme for the event is #BeBold for Change, Women United to move SA forward.
 
The graduates will receive a National Certificate: Local Government Councillor practices and #PressforChange Women in Leadership Training Certificates.
