Minister Winde visits inventors of Africa's first energy efficient solar powered Android computer

Alan Winde, Minister of Economic Opportunities, will tomorrow (25 July 2014) visit a Cape Town-based tech firm who designed Africa’s first low power solar-powered Android computer.


The computer, IMPI Mk1, was launched by Capsule Technologies. Specifically designed for the African continent, the ground-breaking technology is affordable and not vulnerable to an erratic electricity supply.
Minister Winde will view the invention and congratulate the company for earning international attention for the Western Cape’s tech sector.
