The Minister of Water and Sanitation, Ms. Nomvula Mokonyane, will be launching the Jericho Rural Water Supply project on Friday 1 July.

The project has contributed to social economic upliftment of Jericho and has increased the security of water supply to the communities of Jericho in Madibeng Local Municipality.

The project involves the laying of pipelines, reticulation, testing and drilling of boreholes, ascertaining the yield of the boreholes, as well as connecting the feeder lines to the existing network and the main reservoir.

During the event, Minister Mokonyane will conduct a site visit to the project before meeting the community.
