The Minister of Water and Sanitation (DWS), Ms Nomvula Mokonyane will, on Tuesday, 05 December 2017, address the Water Infrastructure Investment Summit to deal with the gap in water infrastructure investment and to provide an enabling environment for investment and inclusive growth in the sector.

Jointly hosted by the Department and the Water Research Commission (WRC),   the Summit will provide a platform for various stakeholders to look at the issue of the investment climate in the light of a myriad of challenges facing the sector, including the persistent drought and flood challenges and aging water infrastructure.

The key stakeholders in the Summit will include investors, funders, project developers, policymakers, regulators and local government partners.
