MINISTER DAVIES TO VISIT ADCOCK INGRAM MANUFACTURING FACILITY

Adcock Ingram will be hosting the Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr Rob Davies, at their tablet and capsule manufacturing facility. Members of the media are invited to attend the event.

The meeting will be an exchange of information between the chairman and management of Adcock Ingram and the dti Ministry, followed by a short media briefing and a facility tour.

The Wadeville facility is a state-of-the-art tablets and capsules manufacturing site which is positioned to manufacture the antiretrovirals (ARVs) marketed by Adcock Ingram and supplied to the State on tender and to the private sector.   The triple therapy ARV marketed by the prescription division of Adcock Ingram, is currently the leading product for the division.

The Wadeville facility has received support from the dti over the past number of years through the Strategic Integrated Projects (SIP) and the Manufacturing Competitiveness Enhancement Programme (MCEP) incentive schemes.
