Minister Davies to launch a R40 million investment plant in Tzaneen

Members of the media are invited to the launch of the R40 million investment Dursots & All Joy Tomato Processing Plant in Modjadjiskloof, Tzaneen. The Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr Rob Davies will officially launch the plant:

According to Minister Davies, the launch of this plant will assist in addressing the increased demand of tomato paste in South Africa as well as create jobs for the people of Tzaneen.

Dursot Food Corporation is one of the leading organically-grown food manufacturing businesses in South Africa, producing a wide range of canned vegetables and legumes, peanut butter, sauces and condiments, mayonnaise, bottled water and tomato paste. This investment is favoured by Limpopo’s warm climate that provides a suitable environment for tomato production. Dursot has embraced supplier development as a mechanism to encourage 15 black emerging farmers into the value chain.
